Our brother, Robert J. Zack, of Rochdale MA, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, April 12, 2021, he was 61 years old.

He was born in Worcester, MA son of the late, Alfred F. and Jane (Piasecki) Zack. He attended St Mary’s grammar school and Doherty Memorial High School. After graduating from Quinsigamond CC, he worked in marketing for Millbrook Distributors, Gerber brothers and J Polep Distribution services for over 30 years, distributing promotional and marketing materials to the grocery and convenience store industry throughout New England.

Bob was always kind to others and put family first. He took care of our mother when she was sick and made her life as comfortable as possible. He did many things for our family without any fanfare.

Bob’s home was his castle, he spent a lot of his spare time working in his yard and on his house. He made everyone feel welcome. A hard worker, Bob enjoyed his time off by spending time on Cape Cod during the summer and travelling to Florida, the Caribbean, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. He also enjoyed skiing and traveled to NH, VT and Utah to enjoy the slopes.

He is survived by 3 brothers, Michael and his wife Andrea of Mesquite NV, Paul and his wife Kathy of Oakham, MA, and Joseph of Worcester, MA; and uncle an aunt, Edward Piasecki and his wife Annie of Worcester; two nieces and two nephews along with eight grand nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with family on Sunday, April 18, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at MERCADNATE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His Funeral will be on Monday, April 19, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home; followed by a procession to Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton for final interment services.
