Subscription Update Obituary

The funeral of Rita (Auger) Prunier, 70, of 61 Sunderland Road will be held tommorow from Courchesne Funeral Home, 82 Plantation Street, with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 35 Hamilton Street.  Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.

Calling hours at the funeral home are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.today.

Mrs Prunier died Sunday in her home.  Her husband, Napoleon J. Prunier died in 1973.  She was a waitress for Kendall Catering Inc for many years.

She leaves 3 sons, Norman G. Prunier of Worcester, and Ronald A. and Francis P. Prunier both of Millbury; a daughter, Elaine D, wife of Chandler Bousquet of Millbury;a brother, Paul L. Auger of Shrewsbury; two sisters, Anita A., wife of Vernon Clay and Claire Auger, both of Worcester; 16 grandchildren; a great-grandaughter; several nieces and nephews.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Frank E. and Amelia )Gendron) Auger.  Mrs Prunier was a member of Senior Citisens of Friendly House.
