Rita G. (Joubert) Jermain, 91, of Auburn, left this world peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2022 to join the love of her life, the late Willis R. Jermain, Sr., who passed in 1985.
She leaves her children, Willis R. Jermain, Jr. and his wife Virginia, Janet L. Hadley, and Kevin Jermain and his wife Frances; her grandchildren, John Hadley and his partner Kristina, Stacie Schonborg and her husband Easa, Serena Germain and her husband Thomas, Willis Jermain, III and his wife Tonya, Christopher Jermain and his wife Kim, Jeremy Scott and his wife Melissa, Holly Scott, and Shannon Burke and her husband Myles; her great-grandchildren, Evan, Megan, Alisun, Paige, John, Vanessa, Jackson, Parker, Brianna, Marissa, Harper, August, Cameron, Mia, and Emily; her devoted sister, Jeannette Tripaldi; as well as many nieces and nephews. Along with her beloved husband, Rita was predeceased by her siblings, Delores Belanger, Anita Ricca, Elzear Joubert, Dorothy Ouimette, Shirley Beaucage, and Richard Joubert; and their parents, Napoleon and Helen (Scott) Joubert.
She was born in Worcester, and raised in Shrewsbury. Rita was a wonderful homemaker and loving wife, mother, and grandmother – she made the best homemade donuts and coffee cake! Rita also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Her family would like to thank the staff of St. Francis Nursing Home, for their kindness and hospitality during her short stay.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Jermain family from 4 – 7 PM on Friday, April 1, 2022 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Her funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, April 2 at the funeral home, with burial following in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
