Subscription Update Obituary

    Rita E. (Roy) Gosselin age 84 died Monday, May 2, 2016, at her home.

She was the wife of the late Amedee J. Gosselin who died in 2006. She leaves two sons, Ronald Smith of Boston, Paul Smith and his wife Linda of Oxford, MA; a stepson, Donald Gosselin of Webster; a daughter, Diane J. Rochette and her husband Gary of Webster; a brother, Chester Roy of Millbury; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one nephew. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lorraine C. Smith of Worcester.

She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of the late Regis and Imelda (L’Ecuyer) Roy and lived in North Grosvenordale for the past 20 years, prior to that living in Worcester. She was a CNA and worked for Webster Manor and other nursing homes. She was a avid Red Sox fan, loved camping with her son and knitting.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 10 AM at the Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster, MA has been entrusted with her arrangements. A guest book is available at www.shaw-majercik.com where you may post a condolence or a memory.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and donatiions made in her memory to St. Judes.
