Richard H. Fairbanks, 81, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 3, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He leaves his wife Susann M. (Burnell) Fairbanks; his children, Cynthia Courchaine and her husband Roy, of Auburn, Christine Goodrich and her husband David, of Auburn, Richard H. Fairbanks and his wife Shari, of Leicester; a step-daughter, Robin (Conkey) Burnell, of Sutton; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Joan Fairbanks, of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, the late Henry M. Fairbanks, Jr. and Lillian (Smith) Fairbanks, Richard was predeceased by his first wife, Carole J. (Devio) Fairbanks, his brother, Robert Fairbanks, and his grandson, Tyler Johnson. Calling hours will be 10:30 – 12:30 PM on Wednesday, April 7th at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, followed by burial at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
