Subscription Update Obituary

Richard E. Moulton, Sr.,78, of Howe Village died Saturday, October 16 in St. Vincent Hospital.

His wife Marie A. (Normandin) Moulton died in 2015. He leaves a son Richard E. Moulton, Jr. and his wife Stacie of Spencer, a daughter Lisa M. Zmyslowski and her husband Kurt of Dudley, a grandson JT Ethier and a granddaughter Abby Lavigne, two brothers; Harold “Mokey” Moulton and his wife Leah of Spencer and Kevin Moulton and his wife Barbara of Sturbridge, two sisters; Janice Madsen of North Brookfield and Barbara Marrier of Spencer and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers; Ernest, David, Kenneth & Gary Moulton and a sister Phyllis Nealer.

Richard was born in North Brookfield, son of Harold L. and Hazel M. (Hirbour) Moulton. He was a custodian for the Spencer East Brookfield School System for many years before retiring. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan. He enjoyed playing cards and watching horse racing.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 11:00 AM in J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will precede the service from 10:00-11:00 AM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
