Subscription Update Obituary

     Raymond J. Osborn, 98, of Scarborough, ME, formerly of Worcester, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 22, 2014, at the Maine Veterans’ Home of Scarborough.

Ray was born on January 16, 1916 along with his identical twin brother, Ralph, in Ludlow, MA to the Reverend William and Alfreda (Robinson) Osborn. He served in the Army from 1940-1944 in North Africa, Sicily, France and Germany.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 72 years, and the love of his life, Virginia (Bell) Osborn; daughters Janice and her husband Alton Fleming of Lynchburg, VA, Cynthia and her husband Charles Andreson of Scarborough, ME, Patricia Osborn of Cape Elizabeth, ME; sons Stephen and his wife Nancy of Worcester, MA, and Peter and his wife Lisa of Worcester, MA; 17 grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family

Funeral service will be on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m., Black Point Congregational Church, 161 Black Point Road, Scarborough. Arrangements made by Hobbs Funeral Home, 671 US Route One, Scarborough, ME.
