Subscription Update Obituary

Ralph T. Aromando, III, 67, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

He was born in Worcester and graduated from St. Peter’s High School in 1971. Ralph worked for the City of Worcester in the Public School Department for over 33 years before retiring in 2010.

Ralph was a family man who loved spending time with his family and friends. Many wonderful memories were made during their summer vacations in South Yarmouth. He followed all New England sports, but was a die-hard Patriots fan.

Ralph was predeceased by his mother, Helen I. (Mahoney) Aromando in 2002. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Alice R. (Thorne) Aromando, two sons, Matthew T. Aromando and his wife Laura Miner, of Brooklyn, NY and Brett J. Aromando of Worcester. Ralph also leaves his father, Ralph L. Aromando, Jr. and his wife Helen (Putes) of Worcester, three brothers, Paul Aromando (Jean) of Oxford, Kenneth J. Aromando of Worcester, John M. Aromando (David) of Clinton, and two sisters, June L. Burroughs (David) of Rutland and Lisa Aromando-Smith (Brian) of Worcester, a brother-in-law, Russell J. Thorne of Huntington Station, NY, and many nephews and nieces.

Visiting Hours to celebrate Ralph’s life will be held Sunday, December 13th at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle Street from 1:00 until 3:00 pm immediately followed by a service at 3pm. Burial will be private and held at a later date.
