Priscilla R. (Davidson) Lizotte, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 under the loving care of her family and the staff at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. Born and raised in Worcester, Priscilla was the daughter of Edward and Florence (Henry) Davidson and later lived in Auburn for 40 years before moving back to Worcester in 2008.
Priscilla and Ed loved to go to the casino, they took many trips right up into their mid 80’s. She was an Avid Red Sox Fan and watched every game. Pat and Ed also owned two sulky race horses which they raced in nearby tracks. In her earlier years Priscilla bred, raised and showed Canaries and Parakeets, wining many ribbons and trophies. Pat worked hard all her life, she worked as a stitcher, nurses aide and held many retail jobs. Priscilla lived the last 10 years at Colony Retirement Homes III, where she enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends until all hours of the night.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by husband of 70 years, Edgar W. Lizotte Sr.; a son, Brian J. Lizotte of Southbridge; a daughter, Linda Hodgdon of Worcester; four grandchildren, Robert B. Hodgdon, Jr., Shawn Lizotte, Kirsten Camarra and her husband, Jonathan and Justine Caron and her husband, Patrick; nine great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her son, Edgar W. Lizotte, Jr. died in 1999. Priscilla is also predeceased by a sister, Agnes Lemieux and a great-granddaughter, Chloe.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Priscilla’s family from 10 to 11 am on Monday, June 11, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, followed by a funeral service at 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
