Subscription Update Obituary

     Paul J, Desrosiers, 58, of Paxton, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after a brief illness.

Paul is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christine J. (Brown) Desrosiers; three sons, Korey Desrosiers and his wife, Ashley of East Brookfield, Kevin Desrosiers and his fiancé, Shanna Pulsifer of Worcester and Christopher Desrosiers and his fiancé, Rebecca Confer of Webster; two daughters, Candice Lavoie of East Brookfield and Kerri Grouf and her husband, Matthew of Hubbardston; a sister, Deann Wisuri and her wife, Misty of Fitchburg; six grandchildren, Leah, Wade, Caden, Bianca, Ariana, Lucia, and five nephews, Justin, Ian, Nate, Maddox and Jaxx.

Mr. Desrosiers was born in Worcester, son of the late Paul R. and Gertrude E. (Hebert) Desrosiers and is also predeceased by a brother, Wayne Desrosiers. Paul graduated from the former Worcester Boy’s Trade High School in Worcester where he studied to be an auto mechanic.

Paul served in the United States Navy and then worked his entire career in the automotive industry. He was working for Meineke Car Care Center located on Park Avenue in Worcester and had previously worked for over 20 years at Midas.

Paul was a die-hard New England Patriots fan, who loved spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren. His main passion and focus all his life was his family. He was known to be the family handy-man and was always willing to help anyone who asked. During the recent COVID lockdown he had discovered a love of cooking, passing recipes and ideas between himself and his children.

A funeral service will be held for loving family and friends to attend on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park 217 Richards Avenue Paxton. Memorial contributions in memory of Paul may be made to Sherry’s House c/o Why Me Inc. 1152 Pleasant Street Worcester, MA 01602.
