Paul F. Ducimo, 66, of Worcester passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024.
Paul is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Denise Gagnon; his loving children, Anthony Ducimo, Nicholas Ducimo and his fiancé Jackeline, and Celene Ducimo; his cherished brother, Gerald ‘Jerry’ Ducimo and his wife Rose; his sister-in-law, Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Ducimo; his adored German Shepherd, Belle (his favorite child); and many caring nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by his fellow Funzalo (pronounced ‘funds-are-low’) brother, John, ‘Jack’ Ducimo, and his beloved sister, Dolores Berger.
Born March 29, 1957, in Worcester to Emil and Mary (Grzyb) Ducimo, Paul was a meticulously talented carpenter and craftsman who rose to any challenge, whether it be constructing elaborate exhibits, unique residential structures, setting the ornate finishing touches on a home, or raising three children as a single parent.
His free time was spent taking in the natural beauty New England has to offer, from its mountainscapes, to its shorelines, and all that lay in between.
Paul was never reluctant to help someone out. Serving as the handyman for many of his neighbors through the years, he gladly accepted meals, tailoring, and invitations to parties for his services. Paul always saw the good in people and often burdened himself to lessen the burden for others. He will be sorely missed by all that got to know him, his ‘family.’
