Subscription Update Obituary

Paul E. Rock, 85, of 22 Bellevue Dr., died Tuesday, Feb. 6 at The Hermitage in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Georgette C. (Forget) Rock; a son, Richard B. Rock and his wife Eileen of Medford, N.J.; two daughters, Nancy Jean Mayo and her husband Ronald of Spencer and Jacqueline E. Lesley and her husband Robert Lesley, Sr. of Spencer with whom he lived; six grandchildren, Patricia and Paul Mayo, Whitney Rock, Erica Lesley, Robert Lesley, Jr. and Richard Lesley; a great-grandson, Adam Mayo; nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Eugene Rock and a sister, Loretta Viens.

Mr. Rock was a truck mechanic at Worcester Mack Motors for 26 years, retiring in 1974. He was born in Auburn, the son of Joseph and Ida (Carmelin) Rock and later served in the U.S.Army during WWII. He was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, and enjoyed playing cards and shooting pool.

The funeral for Paul, will be held on Thursday, Feb. 8 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton with Military Honors. A calling hour will precede the service on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m in the funeral home. Please omit flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Unit @ Golden Living Center-The Hermitage, 383 Mill St., Worcester, Ma. 01602.
