Subscription Update Obituary

Paul D. Gasparik, 77, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Webster, the son of John M. and Stasia (Ruda) Gasparik and had lived most of his life in Webster.

He leaves his daughters, Christine J. Gasparik and her partner, Richard Groccia of Spencer, and Susan L. O’Connor and her husband, David of Dudley; his former wife, Barbara (Taylor) Reynolds and her husband, Gregory of Worcester; four grandchildren, Nicholas Tobin, Elizabeth Walsh, Nathan Tobin and Jonathan O’Connor; two great-grandchildren, Emmalynn and Aiden Walsh; his brother, John Gasparik of Webster; his sisters, Flossie Scanlon of Charlton, Barbara Jean Gasparik of Portsmouth, NH, Charlotte Foley of North Brookfield, and Mary Hazzard of Webster; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

After graduating from high school, Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked at Boston Digital for several years before retiring. Previously, he owned and operated Village Auto in Webster and worked at Norton Company and Gould and Eberhardt. Paul enjoyed time with family and friends and was best known for his compassion for animals, especially his cats.

Paul’s memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 12th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
