Subscription Update Obituary

Noreen F. (Shepard) Leary, 74, died Wednesday, October 4 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester.She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 54 years, James F. Leary, who passed away in 2022.

She leaves a son, Michael Leary and his wife Jodi of Medway, a daughter, Kelli Clifford and her husband Andrew of Sunapee, NH., two sisters, Suzanne Chad of Eastham, MA., Judith Banionis of Brunswick, ME., three grandchildren; Hannah Leary, Drew and Mallory Clifford, several nieces, nephews, and very dear close friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Shepard.

Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Roy & Mary (Hickey) Shepard. Noreen worked at the former Leicester Savings Bank for over 30 years as a bank teller. She enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods and Las Vegas and playing cards.

She loved going on cruises with her sisters and her best friend, Noreen. She also enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and recitals. Hail to the Queen!

Calling hours are Sunday, October 8 from 3-5 P.M. with a Service concluding the calling hours at 5 P.M. in the
MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. There are no other Services planned.
