Muriel V. (Beaudin) Dorval, 99, of West Brookfield passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in West Brookfield. She was born in Spencer on January 5, 1924 to the late Louis N. and Eva (Gouin) Beaudin. She was a 1941 graduate of David Prouty High School.

Muriel will be mourned by her sons, Michael Audette and his wife Gale of West Brookfield, Stephen Audette and his wife Susan of Mashpee, Sergius Barre and his wife Denise of North Carolina, and her daughters, Linda Maher and her husband Dean of Hudson, and Sandra Zikaras of East Brookfield, and a step[1]son, Anthony Dorval and his wife Lynn of FL. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Muriel was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Dorval, and her brother, Donald Beaudin.

Muriel was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed baking desserts for her children and grandchildren. She was blessed with creative hands that she used in her career as a beautician; and enjoyed pencil sketching and painting in oils and watercolor.

Muriel’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center, Unit 2, for the compassionate and professional care they provided.

Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., in West Brookfield is assisting her family with arrangements. Private services will be held at a later date.
