Subscription Update Obituary

Michael J. Ivanisin, 80 of 100 Mark Bradford Drive, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in Saint Vincent’s Hospital. He leaves his wife of 39 years, Evelyn H. (McAuliffe) Ivanisin; two sons, John M. Ivanisin and Paul J. Ivanisin; a daughter, Susan R. Ivanisin all of Holden; a sister, Mary James of Portland, ME; nieces and nephews. A sister, Ann Wormel predeceased him. He was born in Woodland, Maine, son of Paul and Susan(Bires) Ivanisin and had lived in Holden since 1976.

 He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Riley Stoker Co. for 40 years before retiring in 1984. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of St. George’s Church and an avid collector of hats. He also enjoyed taking pictures.
