Subscription Update Obituary
     Michael J. Frederickson, 63, of Shrewsbury, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 17, 2019.Michael is survived by his loving wife of forty-three years, Susan M. (DeMauro) Frederickson; their two children, a daughter, Amanda J. Frederickson and AJ Rich, and a son, Daniel M. Frederickson, all of Shrewsbury; a brother, James R. Frederickson and his wife MaryLee of Worcester; a sister, Lynne-Ann Frederickson-Bonnici and her husband Chris of Shrewsbury; his dog, Roxie, grand-dog, Mia; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  His beloved Bull Mastiff, Rambo crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, one year ago.  Michael was born in Worcester, son of the late, Robert L. and June T. (Dangredo) Frederickson.  He graduated from North High School in Worcester, later serving proudly in the United States Army National Guard.  In 1984, Michael and Susan settled in Shrewsbury, where they have resided ever since and raised their family.

Michael worked for many years at Wyman-Gordon Company in Worcester as a machinist, having previously worked for Heald Machine.  He was a member of the International Association of Machinists.  Michael loved his family and was a proud father; he considered his dogs and grand-dogs to be part of his family. He was a selfless and dedicated father who enjoyed doing anything that involved his kids, from playing catch outside with his son to helping his daughter with projects at her gym, nothing brought him more happiness then his family.  He was an enthusiastic Red Sox and Patriots fan and has been enjoying their successes as sports powerhouses.

Calling Hours will be on Thursday, August 22, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.  His Funeral Service will be Friday, August 23, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
