Mary J. (Greene) Knight, 73, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, December 6th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after a brief illness.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kent; her son, Brian Knight and his wife, Melissa; a grandson, Nicholas Kent; step grandchildren; great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Mary is predeceased by her parents, her brothers and two sons, Richard and Scott Kent.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to John Morin, her longtime home health care nurse and also her primary care physician, Dr. Christine McGinnis as well as the many doctors, nurses and staff that cared for Mary at UMass.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 9th from 5 to 7 pm in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond Street Worcester. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 10th at 11 AM in Worcester County Memorial Park 217 Richards Avenue Paxton. If you wish to be in the funeral procession, please arrive at the funeral home for 10:30 AM.

Social distancing guidelines and face coverings in accordance with CDC guidelines will be in effect for the funeral services.
