Mary J. (Goodwin) Castonguay 86, of West Brookfield, loving wife of the late Eugene P. Castonguay Sr. , who predeceased her in 2012, passed away on July 1, 2023.
She leaves behind two sons, Eugene P. Castonguay Jr. and wife Jane of Holland, MA, Garry Castonguay and wife Carol of Steward, TN; three grandchildren , Michael Castonguay of Warren, MA, Shannon Downey and husband Joel of Cromwell , CT, Melissa LeFave and husband Tim, of Spencer, MA; four great grandchildren, Cael and Coraline Downey,Dexter and Fiona LeFave. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Mary worked for Klevin Shoe Factory in Spencer, MA; also various nursing homes doing laundry, and the Copper Lantern Hotel as a receptionist.
Calling hours will take place from 5:00PM-7:00PM on Tuesday July 11,2023 in Pillsbury funeral Home 3 West Brookfield Rd. Brookfield. A funeral Mass for Mary will be offered at 10:30AM on Wednesday July 12, 2023 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 296 N. Main St., North Brookfield. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, in Paxton. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations be made to St. Jude Hospital.
