Mary Ann (Cournoyer) Magnuson, 93, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 in the Odd Fellows Home.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Patricia A. Magnuson Labovitz of Jupiter, FL., Ann Marie Magnuson of Worcester; Paul F. Magnuson and his wife, Diane (Dee) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL., and Steven Magnuson of Worcester; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Labovitz. Jennifer Rifkin, Eric and Nicole Pizzarella and Alisha and Luke Magnuson. 4 great grandchildren, Sophie, Bridget, Jack and Noah and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Theodore P. Cournoyer. Mary Ann was born in Worcester a daughter of Theodore and Mary (Thompson) Cournoyer and graduated from Commerce High School.

Mrs. Magnuson was a pharmacist technician for more than 25 years for CVS Pharmacy and retired many years ago. Mary Ann was a member of the former St. Casimir Church and attended St. Joan of Arc Church.

Active in politics, Mary Ann was a member and secretary of the Lithuanian Democratic Club and sponsored candidate meet and greets in her home. In her younger days Mary Ann enjoyed playing cards with her friends, vacations at Hampton Beach and Cape Cod as well as trips to Las Vegas and Foxwoods.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank Rhonda Gilchrest, as Mary Ann called her, her third daughter, for all her love and care she gave Mom for over 15 years.

The graveside service for Mary Ann will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday March 11, 2025 in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave, Paxton. Dirsa – Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St, is directing the service arrangements.
