Subscription Update Obituary

     Mary Ann (Vicaire) Butler, 88, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves 3 sons- Michael Butler, Fred Butler Jr., and Danny Bottom; 4 daughters- Susan Dufresne, Sandra Gedenberg, Tina Contonio, and Tammie Larson; 23 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; several siblings including Bill Vicaire and Jeannie Moffett; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and her beloved chihuahua Boy-Boy. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years Frederick W. Butler; and by several siblings including Joe and John Vicaire and Alma Jerome.

Mary Ann was born in Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late William and Bella (Caplin) Vicaire. She worked as a home health aide for many years for the Medical Resources Company. She was a proud member of the MicMac Tribe in Canada. She attended the Mill Church of Millbury and enjoyed coloring, knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 10 a.m.- 12 noon in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon in the funeral home. Masks must be worn and all current covid protocols must be followed. Nordgren Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
