Subscription Update Obituary

Mary A. (Reed/Baribeault) Harris, 81, passed away on September 8, 2024, at UMass Memorial Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Harris.

She leaves four children: W. Anthony Baribeault and wife Sarah, Timothy E. Baribeault and wife Cheryl, Terrie A. LaMarche and husband Richard, Thomas F. Baribeault and wife Julie, a stepdaughter Pamela J. Baribeault, her brother Robert T. Reed and wife Nancy, nine grandchildren; Robert, Ashley, Gage, Haley, Nicholas, Ryan, Cameron, Annie and Orlo, four step grandchildren; Scott, Janelle, Greg and Sarah, eight great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews, including Debra, Mary Frances, Patricia, Christine, Kimberly and Kathleen.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of Orlo T. and Helen B. (McGrath) Reed. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Frances Migneault. Mary worked for many years at the former Worcester Memorial Hospital, Paul Revere Investment Management in Worcester and continued her career as an office manager in Boston at Criimi Mae Investment Management, Boston Mortgage Capital, J.P. Morgan and CB Richard Ellis. For many years she was an auxiliary deputy sheriff under the direction of John Michael Flynn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Church, 258 Main Street, Rutland. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton.
