Subscription Update Obituary

     Martha L. (Knight) Lam, 68, passed away at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA on February 28, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late Charlotte E. Knight. Martha grew up in Upton where she attended school and became a machinist for the former Presmet Corportaion for more than 20 years.

She leaves her son, Mickael Martell, Sr. of Whitman, MA, her daughter, Nadine Demauro and her husband, Leonard of Worcester; her sisters, Evelyn Supernor and her husband, Alan of Lawton, OK, Marie Mead and husband, David, Kimberly Dixon and her husband, Patrick and Carol Gagnon and her husband, John Roberts all of Worcester; her brothers, Robert Gagnon of Ware, MA, Edward Gagnon and his wife, Lucretia and Mark Gagnon both of Worcester; five grandchildren, Jacob Fredette of Long Beach, CA, Alexis Demauro of Worcester, Mickael Martell, Jr., Christopher Martell, and William Martell all of Whitman, MA; she also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul H. Lam, her son, Timothy Grandmaison, her mother, Charlotte Gagnon, step-father, Edward Gagnon and brother Walter Knight.

Funeral services for Martha will be private and are under the direction of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Memorial donations may be made to Why Me, 1152 Pleasant Street, Worcester, MA 01602.
