Mark was born in Worcester, MA and grew up and lived in Holden most of his life.
His 40-year career in commercial laundry started at age 15 when he worked in a laundry in Worcester. That move developed into three business partners with Mark Johnson as president. After selling the institutional business in 2005, the company segued in hospitality services. He became the first Hall of Fame inductee of Massachusetts Lodging Association who was a vendor and not in a direct hospitality business.
The hospitality business was sold in 2014 and Mark retired to his home on Wells Beach in Maine. There he thoroughly enjoyed golfing, his dog Della, and traveling with his wife.
