Marion L. (Keith) Thibault, 91, died on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at UMass Memorial Hospital-Belmont Campus surrounded by her family, after a brief illness. She was born and raised in West Boylston, a daughter of the late Erving F. and Stella G. (Harrington) Keith.
Marion attended West Boylston High School, and graduated from the Wilfred Academy of Hair and Beauty Culture in Boston, and owned her own hair salon in Holden for several years. Marion then worked for Brookfield Shoe before taking a position in the cafeteria department of the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, retiring in 1989 after 16 years. Following her retirement, Marion and her husband, Robert moved to Florida for 20 years. Together they enjoyed collecting seashells and creating new friendships with neighbors. They returned to their hometown of many years, Princeton in 2008. Marion enjoyed sewing, music and along with Bob, ballroom dancing. She cherished the time she spent with her beloved family.
Her beloved husband, Robert died in 2012. She leaves two daughters, Sandra L. Dubey and her husband, Glen of Morriston, FL and Suzanne M. Garrity and her husband, Thomas of Princeton, with whom she lived; 10 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Keith and Theresa McNally, both of Worcester; as well as nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Rhonda L. Poisson, her two sisters, Dorothy W. Keith and Barbara A. Nolet and by her brother, Roger E. Keith.
At her request, there are no visiting hours. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29, in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 0204, P.O. Box 1115, Sterling, MA 01564-1115. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
