Subscription Update Obituary

Maria Regalada Diaz, passed peacefully into the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by her family after a long battle with dementia. She was predeceased by her son Joseph Angel, mother, Evarista Diaz, father, Cirilo Diaz, brothers, Angel and Rene, her beloved Godson, Angel L Diaz, and many other family and friends.

Maria leaves behind her sister Martha (Diaz) Dufresne and spouse Richard F. Dufresne,  brothers Jose Diaz, Luis Diaz and wife Doreen, Cirilo Diaz Jr. and wife Gidget. (VA), Maria leaves her daughters Lisa Boyle (VA), and Cristina (CA), grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved cats Bubba and Chunk.

Maria’s faith was unwavering. She will always be remembered for her one of a kind “no filter” kind of personality. She loved her family, God, Puerto Rico, food and music.

Her life was a testament to faith, resilience, strength, perseverance and most of all love.

Maria, we love you and will miss you. Thank you for being my sister. Thank you for loving us, thank you for your strength, and thank you for being you.

Be with God, Mami and all our guardian angels be in Peace.🕊️ we love you. Amen.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 21, at 10 am at St. Peter’s Church, Main Street, Worcester. Burial to follow at Paxton Cemetery.
