EAST BROOKFIELD: Lucien “Leo” Tetreault, 90, of E.Brookfield, died Friday, Sept. 9th. in Quaboag Rehab. & Skilled Care Center, W.Brookfield.
He leaves his estranged wife, Judith E. (Simmons) Tetreault, his daughter; Lori Gregoire and her husband William of E.Brookfield and their two children Dr. Shannon Gregoire and Bradley W. Gregoire, two sons; Adrien Tetreault and his wife Jennifer of Spencer, Leo L. Tetreault Jr. of Southbridge, a step-daughter, Sharron Audette of East Brookfield, with whom he last resided with, Susan Pulsaifer of Brimfield, Joshua Strubble of North Brookfield, Justin Strubble of Warren, 6 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, step children and many step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Tetreault and 6 siblings, Armand Tetreault, Lucille McGrath, Claire Rivers, Bella Sylvestri, Theresa White, and Celine Manseau.
“Leo” was a self employed plasterer for most of his life in Spencer and in retirement in Florida. He was born in Spencer, the son of Adrien J. and Aurore (Lamoureux) Tetreault and later served his country during the Korean War with the US Navy. Leo was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church in Edgewater, Fl. He was an usher at that same church. He served “Meals on Wheels”, every Wednesday. He volunteered and hung drywall for “Habitat for Humanity. ”He drove elderly parishioners to and from doctor appointments. He was a member of the Oak Hill American Legion. In lieu of flowers Donations may be made to Quaboag Rehab & Skilled Care Center (Patient Activity Fund), 47 East Main St., W.Brookfield, MA 01585.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private.
A MEMORIAL MASS WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, SEPT. 20 AT 10 A.M. IN ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, NO.BROOKFIELD RD., EAST BROOKFIELD, MA
