Subscription Update Obituary

Louise P. Gauvin, 73, of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 6, 2021.

Louise was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, daughter of the late Thomas and Delphine (Bourque) Gauvin. Louise was one of 9 children and is survived by five brothers, Paul Gauvin and his wife, Suzanne, John Gauvin, Robert Gauvin and his wife, Deborah, Norman Gauvin and his wife, Maureen and Richard Gauvin and his wife, Michelle; two sisters, Angela Allain and Joanne Turner. Louise is also survived by many nieces, nephews and is predeceased by 2 brothers, Roger and Peter Joseph Gauvin. She loved her dog Junior.

Louise was a passionate and giving person. She dedicated her life to helping and caring for those in need. Her compassion led her to a long nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, where she worked in the areas Hospitals and Nursing Homes. She was an extremely talented nurse, a great friend and mentor to many. She will be greatly missed. Love you Louise may you RIP.

A funeral mass for Louise will be held on Monday, December 20 at 10:30 AM in St. John’s Church 44 Temple St. Worcester. Louise will be laid to rest with her mother and father in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Family and friends are invited to gather in St. John’s Church from 9:30 to 10:30 before the funeral for a calling hour. Memorial contributions in memory of Louise may be made to donor’s charitable choice.
