Subscription Update Obituary

   Louis R. Allard, 52, of 75 Deerfield St., a longtime postal clerk, died Friday, March 1, 2002 at home after an illness.He left his wife, Kathleen B. (O'Connor) Allard; three daughters, Lynn A. Polli, Colleen Ventura and Catherine B. Allard, all of Worcester; two brothers, George Allard of Okeechobee, Fla., and Clifford Allard of Worcester; a sister, Lucille Allard of Worcester; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A sister, Sharron McHugh, died in 1991.   
   He was born in Worcester, son of George J. and Doris B. (Rozzell) Allard, and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Mr. Allard was a postal clerk for the United States Postal Service for 30 years. He enjoyed playing the guitar and skydiving and was a NASCAR fan.
  
The funeral service was held in O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave. Burial was  in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Donations may be made to Massachusetts Veteran's Homeless Shelter, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
