Lorraine R. (LaRose) Connors, 87, of Worcester, died Saturday, April 10th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 58 years, Edward J. Connors, died in 2014. She is survived by three sons, Michael E. Connors and his wife, Susan of Whitinsville, Paul J. Connors and his wife, Kathy of Rutland and Robert T. Connors of Hampton, VA; two daughters, Christine M. Anderson and her husband, David from Connecticut and Kelly A. Rowe of Townsend; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa and Kevin Connors, James and Emily Anderson and Elijah Rowe and two great-grandchildren, Lillian and Nicholas Thomas and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her infant son, Mark and her brother, Raymond LaRose.

Lorraine was born in Worcester, the daughter of Raymond W. and Henrietta H. (Credit) LaRose and attended Columbus Park School, and was an Auburn High School graduate. She had once worked as a clerk for the City of Worcester Library system; volunteered at the Columbus Park School Library, and had been a Bluebird Leader with the Campfire Girls. Lorraine will be remembered for the beautiful artificial floral designs she created, her sewing and quilting and enjoying Polka music every Sunday. She enjoyed spending time on Facebook, her trips to Cool Sandy Beach and the annual family gatherings at Hampton Beach. The family will dearly miss her presence at the Christmas celebrations around the tree, which she always made so special and most of all the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, is assisting the family with arrangements which will be private.
