Subscription Update Obituary

    Lisa M. (Copper) Gingerelli, 47, of Worcester passed away Friday, June 12th 2009 in the University of Massachusetts Hospital with her family by her side.

    Lisa is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael J. Gingerelli; her four cherished children, Kristen Marie, Nicole Marie, Gina Marie and Anthony John Gingerelli ; Her mother, Mary (Barone) Copper all of Worcester; two brothers, Stephen G. Copper of Shrewsbury, and Robert M. Copper of Oxford; two sisters, Barbara M. Sachs of Northboro and Judith A. Colecchi of Webster; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews and friends including her neice Donna M. Brissette.

    Lisa was born in Worcester on September 6th 1961, her father was the late John C. Copper. She graduated from Burncoat High School and Quinsigamond Community College. Lisa was a special woman, with an outgoing personality and wonderful sense of humor. Her family was by far her inspiration, devotion and her life.

    Lisa worked the past 15 years as a Dental Assistant to Dr. James Gagne.

    Lisa’s funeral will be held Tuesday, June 16th from the MERCADANTE FUINERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 370 Plantation St with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Monday, June 15th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions made to the Umass Memorial Oncology Department, 55 Lake Ave North, Worcester Ma. 01655. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Bilal Piperdi and the oncology staff for the care and comfort they gave to Lisa.
