Subscription Update Obituary

Lawrence J.  Brusa, 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 13thin UMASS Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Larry leaves his wife of 35 years, Maureen (Mallett) Brusa; eight children, Mark Brusa, Julie Campbell and her husband, Mike, Chrisopher Brusa and his wife, Tracy, Adam Brusa and his wife, Kristi, Sandy McAvoy, Paul Ferraro and his wife, Karen, Donna Bache and her husband, Jay and Liane Friel and her husband, Josh; twelve grandchildren, Shane, Mark and Courtney, Mikey and Marcus, Stephen and Michael, Jessie and his wife, Mariel, Briana and Heather, Ayden and Emi; a great granddaughter, McKenzie; a brother, Lee Brusa and his wife, Maggie and a sister, Linda Roberts; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He is predeceased by his parents, Lawrence and Florence Brusa and a brother, Lloyd Brusa.

Larry was born in Worcester in November of 1941 and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School.  He joined the Army shortly after and upon returning he worked in his trade of printing.  Larry was an avid boxing fan and started boxing at eight years old.  One of his favorite pastimes was watching boxing with his grandsons and he also loved photography and shared this passion with his brother, Lee. We will all sadly miss this man we called, Larry, Dad, Grandpa and Papa.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate and remember Larry’s life with a time of visitation on Sunday, Nov. 19thfrom Noon to 2 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  His funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
