Subscription Update Obituary

Laura G. (Pion) Bouvier, 95, of Howe Village, died Friday, Sept. 16 in St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.

She was the wife of Reginald H. Bouvier who died in 1990. She leaves her son; Wayne R. Bouvier and his wife Lori of No. Brookfield, her daughter; Linda M. Prouty and her husband Matthew of Worcester, her brother; Paul Pion of Maine, and her sister; Pauline Zalauskas of Spencer, two grandchildren; Erica Hillman and Shaun Bouvier, 5 great grandchildren; Kassidy, Nathan, Zachary, Ryan and Morgan, several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers; Joseph, Frank, Wallace, Donald and Norman Pion and Raymond Dion, her sisters; Lorraine Gorman, Rita Harder and Evelyn Hebert.

She was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish.

She was born in E. Brookfield, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Mitchell) Pion.

In her retirement years she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Trips to Cape Cod and traveling with her sisters. She especially enjoyed the company of her four legged friends Casper and Angel.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20 with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the church. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.O. Box 136, E. Brookfield, MA 01515. The J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing arrangements for the family.
