Larry Gene Sanchez, 64, of Warren Road, died Sunday, October 16, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his wife of 13 years, Rhonda J. (Bullard) Sanchez who died in 2019. He is survived by four step-children, John W. Roy of Auburn, Tanya M. Leveille and her husband John of Auburn, Lisa M. Garneau and her husband Sean of Worcester, and Denise Caissie and her husband James of Fitchburg; three sisters, Laure Riddle of Scotia, NY, Teri S. Vazquez of Richmondville, NY, and LuAnne E. Mariano and her husband Nicholas of Troy, NY; five grandchildren, Mikayla Artz and her husband Ian of Webster, Autumn Dube and her companion Dean of Auburn, Jenna Sarosi and her husband Brett of Webster, Justin Johnson and his fiancée Samantha of Leominster, and Ronnie Caissie of Leominster; five great-grandchildren, Willow Lima, Aldyn Lima, Eleanor Sarosi, Ezekiel Sarosi, and Avalanna Johnson; and seven nephews and nieces, Darci Jo Boniewski and her husband Chris and their son Cameron, Sarah Molnar, Mary Molnar, Alicia Mariano, Alondra Vazquez, Ian Molnar, and Nicholas Mariano Jr. He was born in Schenectady, NY, son of the late Ralph Edgar “Eddie” and Virginia May (Schmid) Sanchez, and lived in Schenectady, NY, Fitchburg, and Leominster, before moving to Auburn 18 years ago. He graduated from Mohonasen High School in New York. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korea from 1978-1979.

Mr. Sanchez was a truck driver for C.W.T. in Marlboro for two years. Previously, he worked for D. Murgo Trucking in Worcester for nine years and worked for ChemTech in Leominster. Larry G. was a blues guitarist and loved to play with his good friend Shion and his fiancée Chrissy. He also loved learning guitar from his friend Bill. He enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle. He enjoyed the company of dogs, especially his best buddy Willie and his great-grand dogs Rosco and Bella. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and loved to make people laugh.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Vincent Hospital for the exceptional care during his illness.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
