Subscription Update Obituary

Kevin W. Roszkiewicz, 62, of Rutland, passed away peacefully at Brigham and Women’s Hospital on December 4, 2024 after battling kidney cancer. He is the loving husband of Maryann (Liljestrand) Roszkiewicz with whom he has shared 36 years of marriage.

Kevin was born on February 9, 1962 in Webster, the son of the late Walter and Mary (Majewski) Roszkiewicz. He graduated from St. Mary High School in Worcester. He was an electrical salesman for over 40 years. First at Keystone Electric, Graybar Electric, Capital Lighting Supply, and finished his career at Northeast Electric.

Kevin’s greatest passion in life was his guitar. He was a talented musician who played in several bands, and was the lead guitarist in his band “Bottom Line”. He also loved Harley Davidsons and Led Zeppelin.

Along with his wife Maryann, Kevin leaves behind his sons, Jason Roszkiewicz and his wife Victoria of Holden, and Justin Roszkiewicz of North Brookfield; his sister Deborah Lewandowski and her husband Peter of Worcester; and nephews, Scott and Kyle Lewandowski and Nathan Ciffizzati of Dudley.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 13th from 4-7pm at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street in Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14th at 10am in St. Patrick’s Church, 258 Main Street, Rutland. Interment to follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
