Kevin M. McKeon, 70, of Worcester, passed away on May 28th at home with his loving family at his side following a long battle with cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Roxanne M. Stevens-McKeon; his daughter Katie L. McKeon of Worcester; a brother, Francis J. McKeon, Jr. and his wife, Mary-Jo of Millbury; his sister, Constance Bunker and her husband, David of Rutland; sister-in-law, Nancy Campbell and brother-in-law, Robert Stevens and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Catherine T. Hastings.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Francis J. McKeon, Sr. and Constance V. (Pentland) McKeon and graduated from Worcester Boy’s Trade as a plumber. He then worked as a painter for Botany Bay Construction and later for himself. Kevin loved Maine, especially Wells Beach and Old Orchard Beach and enjoyed the time he spent there with family and friends. He will be remembered for his ability to make others laugh, the joy he experienced when dancing with Roxanne and his racquet ball abilities. In his younger days Kevin could be found enjoying softball games, playing on the teams of several local pubs. Family was of the utmost importance to him, and he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 1st from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with his funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 31st from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
