Kenneth S. Price, 79, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at UMASS Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

Kenneth is survived by a son, Wayne H. Price and his wife Charlene of Worcester; a daughter, Ida K. Price of Lawndale, CA; three grandchildren, Dominique, Alexander, and Alyssa Price; the mother of his children and lifetime friend, Emeral Price; a brother, Thomas E. Price of New Jersey; two sisters, Muriel Geter of Worcester, and Geraldine Jackson of Los Angeles; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister and four brothers, Beverly Levicie, Elwood, Jr., Richard, Philip, and Gerald Price. Kenneth was born in Worcester son of the late, Elwood B. and Muriel (Anderson) Price, and has lived here all his life.

Kenneth loved his family and was a dedicated father who worked hard to provide for his family; he was an inspector at Norton-Saint Gobain for over forty years as well as serving as a campus police officer at Becker College for over thirty years. He was a member of Belmont A.M.E. Zion Church.

Kenneth was born to a family of musicians and truly had a love for music. As a teenager, he was a singer in the local group, The Lincardos. He would often be heard humming or singing a tune.

Kenneth was a sports enthusiast. He played basketball and football in his youth for local teams. He loved to sit back and relax in his chair while watching games on TV.

He loved riding his Harley Davidson and often took rides to Cape Cod.

Kenneth was proud of his heritage and being a part of the Laurel/Clayton Community where he built lasting relationships and enjoyed attending their reunions.

Music, sports and love for his family was the fabric of who he was.

Special thank you to TT and team for providing care and support to Ken.
