     Kathy A. “Lady” Gallo, 59 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home, Saturday April 21, 2018, joining in heaven her longtime love Charles “Buster” Richardson who passed away in 2007.Kathy was born in Worcester, one of three children of Edward N. and Emma T. (Corey) Gallo.  Raised here, Kathy graduated from the former Marion High School, class of 1976.  She then accepted a position with the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where she worked many years. Kathy has lived in Worcester all her life.

Kathy is survived by her cherished daughter, Reanna Filmore , her husband Jerry; and their children,  Jerry Filmore, III, Lillian Filmore, Zachary and Ava Taylor, Myraiah Filmore, and Elijah Johnson; a brother, Nicholas P. Gallo of Cranston, RI; and his two daughters, Tiffany Gallo-LaFratta and Brittaneigh Gallo. Her sister, Maria (Gallo) Vokes, her husband Brian of Worcester, their daughter Emma Vokes. Several stepchildren, grandchildren, extended family members and friends.

Kathy was an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast. She loved country western music, her signature flaming boots and leather jacket, spending summers at Old Orchard Beach and riding her Harley with friends. Her daughter and grandchildren were her greatest joy.  Nothing made Kathy smile more than having Reanna and her grandchildren around her.  A strong-willed, kind women, who was always a presence when she entered a room.  Kathy also enjoyed making creative baskets and leather goods for her friends and family.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Friday, April 27th 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St.  Her funeral will be held Saturday, April 28th at 9:30 am in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Worcester County  Memorial Park, Paxton, MA.
