Kathleen M. (Healy) Roy, 75, of So. Spencer Rd., died peacefully, on Monday, Sept. 5th. in her home.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, Andre J. Roy, her daughter; Nicole D. Allen and her husband Matthew of E.Brookfield, her son; Gerald J. Roy of Spencer, her brother; John “Jack” Healy of Worcester, five grandchildren; Jared Toth and his wife Kayla of Baltimore, MD., Olivia Roy, Kaitlyn and Bridget Allen and Blake Roy all of E.Brookfield and a great grandson; William Toth, several nieces and nephews.

Kathy was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Muriel (Bennett) Healy and later graduated from the former Ascension High School in Worcester ’64 and the Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester. She was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital before retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Mary,Queen of the Rosary Parish. She loved to travel along with her husband. A devoted grandmother, she was very generous with her love and time spent with them.

Her funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer burial will follow in Worcester County memorial Park, Paxton. Friends are asked to go directly to the Church. Calling hours are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Services, P.o. Box 136, E.Brookfield, MA 01515.
