     Julie A. (Lavallee) Proko, 83, of West Boylston and formerly of Worcester, died peacefully Tuesday, March 24, 2015 surrounded by her family. Her first husband George S. Proko died in 1993. Her second husband Robert Farquharson died in 2012. Her daughter Maryann L. Borjeson died in 2010. Julie leaves four children, Dianne Silun and her husband, Paul of Boylston, S. Edward Proko and his wife Beth of Worcester, Suzanne Borleis and her husband Daniel of Concord, N.C., and Patricia Ryan of Holden; five grandchildren, twins Brandon and Brooke Borleis, Delaney and Morgan Proko, and Mackenzie Ryan; a brother, Paul Lavallee of Spencer; and her husband Bob's three children, Walter Farquharson, Linda Dermatis and Gail Raymond and two granddaughters. Julie was born in Worcester, daughter of Edward and Lillian (Cournoyer) Lavallee, grew up in Spencer, and lived in Worcester for more than 40 years before moving to West Boylston. She graduated from St. Mary's School in Marlborough and the St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing. Julie was a registered nurse and worked at the Knollwood Nursing Center for many years. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and many summers on Cape Cod. Julie was devoted to her family her entire life. Calling hours are Thursday, March 26 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral will be held on Friday, March 27 from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Christopher's Church, 950 West Boylston St., Worcester.
