Julie Marie Rountree, age 33 years, of Plymouth, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at her home. She was the daughter of Brian and Leslie (Putrus) Rountree, and the sister of Michael Rountree all of Plymouth. Born in Worcester on December 17, 1988, she was a graduate of Plymouth South High School and Cape Cod Community College. She worked as am EMT at Brewster Ambulance and the Boston Red Sox. Besides working for the Boston Red Sox, Julie was an avid fan. She loved animals, and formerly raised chickens and was a volunteer for Friends of Plymouth Animal Shelter. As someone who loved gardening, Julie was a member of the Evening Garden Club in Plymouth. She also loved her German Shephard, Remington. Along with her family, she had a great love for astronomy. They enjoyed their yearly trips to Springfield, Vermont where they attended a telescope conventions, as a vacation.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 3:00PM – 5:00PM in the DAVIS LIFE CELEBRATION AND FUNERAL HOME, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Plymouth Animal Shelter, 2199 State Road, Plymouth, MA 02360
