Joyce M. (Dame) Giaquinto, 91, of Auburn, died Monday, June 13th at home. Her husband of 50 years, Edward J. Giaquinto died in 2001. She leaves her children, Carolanne Hehir and her husband, William of Bolton, Joseph Giaquinto and his wife, Janette of Auburn with whom she lived, Jody Giaquinto of Worcester, and Edward Giaquinto and his wife Lesa of California; two sisters, Karen Breen and Cynthia Eaton both of Cape Cod; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Phyllis Marone, Jackie Lombardi and Janice Gruber.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Joseph and Alice Dame. Joyce worked for Fallon Clinic in the billing department for 25 years. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Church. Joyce enjoyed spending her time shopping, visiting her sisters on the Cape, and traveling to Italy, Mexico, and Bermuda. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton will be private. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
