Subscription Update Obituary

John M. Plante, 32, of Paxton, formerly of Worcester, a bank worker, died Sunday, April 30, in University Commons Nursing Home, Worcester, after an illness.

He leaves his parents, E.A. John and Marie Y. (Ouellette) Plante of Paxton, with whom he lived; three sisters, Jacqueline M. Gatchell of West Millbury, Janet M. Perez and her husband Albino of La Otto, Ind., and Joy M. Plante and her companion Margaret A. Endicott of Annandale, Va; a nephew William P. Gatchell; two nieces Tina M. Hobin and Johnna M. Gatchell; and a grandnephew Raymond Hobin III. He was born and raised in Worcester, and later lived in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, Ind., before moving to Paxton several months ago. He attended St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury and graduated from Felician Junior Seminary in Goshen, N.Y. He attended Don Bosco College in Newton, N.J., and Indiana University in Fort Wayne. He served in the Army for four years, including duty in South Korea and Germany.

Mr. Plante worked at Lincoln Bank, Summit Bank, and GTE Corporation in Fort Wayne.
