John J. “Jack” Kimball, 81, died Sunday, January 11, 2009 in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife, Joan M. (Lapierre) Kimball; a son, James J. Kimball of Woodstock, GA; a daughter, Jean M. Redekas of Tariffville, CT; a brother, Robert R. Kimball of NH; a sister, Beverly Seymour of Oxford; 6 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by two brothers and six sisters. John was born in Worcester the son of the late Edgar & Sylvina S. (Desrosier) Kimball. He was a US WWII Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 41 in North Brookfield. John worked 39 years at David Gessner Co. in Worcester until he retired in 1992.

   The funeral for John will be held on Thursday January 15, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 44 Gilbert St., North Brookfield. Calling hours will be held from 10-11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial with military honors, will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his name to the North Brookfield Rescue Squad, PO Box 73, N. Brookfield, MA 01535.
