Jennifer M. Lee, of Peabody, a Worcester native and former resident of Winchendon, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was 30 years old. Born on March 1, 1985 in Worcester, she was the daughter of William E. Lee and Rose M. (LaFlash) Covey. Raised in Winchendon, she also grew up on the North Shore. Jen graduated from Methuen High School in 2003 and earned certification as an esthetician from Elizabeth Grady Cosmetology School. She had worked in the field and loved her work at the various places she was employed. On December 17th 2001, Jen was blessed with the birth of her son, Shane T. O’Brien. She adored and loved being his mom. She will be remembered as a sweet girl with a big heart and an even bigger smile. She loved music, writing and drawing and had aspirations of becoming a nurse and had completed some classes at North Shore Community College. Jen leaves her son, Shane and his father, Robert T. O’Brien of Burlington; her mother Rose Covey and her husband, John of Baldwinville; her dad, William E. Lee and his wife, Wendi of Middleton; her siblings, William J. LaFlash of Salem and Jeffrey J. Lee of Millbury, Nicole D. Lee-LaFlash of Newport Richey, Florida, Olivia and Madeline Lee of Middleton; her grandmother, Bertha M. Lee of Port St. Lucie, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, great uncles and great aunts and cousins.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jennifer’s life by gathering for calling hours at the Heald & Chiampa Funeral Directors – The Sumner House, 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday in All Saints Episcopal Church, 10 Irving St., Worcester at 3:00 pm. Burial is private.
