Jeffrey E. Gaskin, 66, beloved father of Lori Gaskin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the Odd Fellows Home in Worcester. Born in Worcester, he was a son of the late Arnold and Grace (Stolnacke) Gaskin.

He was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and a member of the soccer team. Jeffrey enjoyed a long career as an elevator mechanic for several local and out-of-state companies, retiring after 40 years of service. He was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church of Holden. In his spare time, he could often be found outdoors, observing the wildlife. He enjoyed scuba diving and visiting Maurice’s Campground in Wellfleet during the summer months. Jeffrey was an avid guitar player and talented crafter with stained glass. He often went deep sea fishing with his friends and was an enthusiastic amateur geologist.

He will be lovingly missed and remembered by his daughter, Lori Gaskin of Dedham; his two brothers, Gary (Karen) Gaskin of Jefferson and Stephen Gaskin of Holden, and nieces and nephews Rachel (Saša) Nedic and Sam (Elizabeth) Gaskin.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New England Hospice at 190 Old Derby Street, Suite 304, Hingham, MA 02043
