Jeannette A. Foley, 90, our loving Mom, Grammy, GiGi, Aunt, Sister and friend passed away peacefully at her home on September 18,2023 surrounded by her children along with her favorite music, poetry and scriptures. She is survived by her four children: Robert Miglin Jr. (Jill) of Burnt Hills, NY, Nancy Miglin of North Brookfield, Laura Morris (Paul) of Leicester, MA and Dennis Foley (Heidi) of Phillipston, MA. Jeannette is also survived by her sister, Marion Meili. She leaves a legacy of six Grandchildren; Marissa, Paul (Nicole), Garett (Kristin), Benjamin (Caitlin), Daniel (Kayla) and Caitlin along with six Great Grandchildren; Sophia, Madeline, Sam, Matthew, Maxwell and Tyler. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Mom is predeceased by Dennis, her loving husband of 50 years, her parents Ernest and Anna, her granddaughter Allie Morris and her nephew David Blough.

Jeannette was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois but lived her life in many different locations until finally settling in North Brookfield for the last 56 years. This is where she raised her family, her pride and joy. Our Mom worked various jobs in her lifetime, from bank teller, to bookkeeping, and then settling in with the retail industry as the Store Manager at Cumberland Farms in Spencer, MA for many years. Even after she retired as manager, Mom would continue to work into her 80’s. She loved meeting the people who came into her life. Together with our dad, Mom enjoyed traveling to various parts of the country and beyond. Her favorite trips were to Hawaii, San Francisco, Chicago, Costa Rica and Ireland. Mom also loved trips to the beaches around the New England coast. She loved watching the birds in her yard and the various other creatures that would come through. Most of the books she read were of nature and words of inspiration. Mom was actively involved with her children’s lives and was happiest taking part in family gatherings, whether a birthday celebration, a wedding, a holiday, or just a get together; she loved spending time with her family more than anything else. She was always laughing and sharing many of her childhood memories. We take solace in reading many of the journals Mom had written throughout her years.

We would like to thank the entire staff at Overlook Hospice for providing exceptional care and support for our mother. More importantly we want to thank our sister Nancy for being Mom’s caregiver and allowing her to live her final years at her home. Nancy, you truly have been an Earth Angel. Your siblings are forever grateful to you. Although, her family is heartbroken at her passing, we take comfort that she is reunited with our dad, the love of her life, and many of her family members. Mom is at peace. She will always be the wind beneath our wings.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 29,2023 from 10:00am – 11:30am in Pillsbury Funeral Home 44 Gilbert St. North Brookfield. A graveside celebration of life will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Abby’s House (Abbyshouse.org) Worcester Animal Rescue League 139 Holden Street Worcester MA, 01606
