Subscription Update Obituary

   Jean H. (Boltruczyk) Dumas, 74, of Worcester, passed away Thurs., Feb. 12.

   She leaves her husband of 56 years, Francis E. Dumas; six children, Paul F. Dumas, Sharon A. Gibbons, Jack J. Dumas and his wife Paula, Nancy J. Blanchard and her husband Michael all of Worcester, Fran X. Dumas and his wife Viviane of Webster and David M. Dumas and his wife Susan of Shaker Heights, OH; a brother, Edward Boltruczyk of Worcester; two sisters, Helen Paquet and Florence Randell both of Worcester; 14 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A sister, Stella Mezynski died in 2007 and two grandchildren predeceased her in 1997.

   She was born in Worcester, daughter of Anthony and Hedwig (Kowalewski) Boltruczyk and graduated from Commerce High School.

   Jean was a secretary for the Worcester Public Schools for 21 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Catherine of Sweden Church.

   The funeral will be held Tues., Feb. 17, from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle  St., with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 1 Wiser Ave. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting Hours are Mon., Feb. 16, from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice for the Rose Monahan House, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, 01608.
