Jean C. Paulin, 88, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Jean was a strong, loving, and genuine woman loved by her entire family, both young and old. Jean was born in Worcester the youngest child of four children of the late, Joseph E. and Mary F. (Murray) Paulin and grew up Southbridge before her family finally settled in Worcester, shortly after she graduated from Mary Wells High School. She attended and received her associate degree from Williams College. She was an administrator in the trust department at Fleet Bank, formerly Worcester County National Bank, retiring in 1996, after forty years of service.

She was predeceased by her three siblings, George E. Paulin, Eva M. Reidy, and Rita F. Maynard.

Jean is survived by her sister-in-law, Judith Paulin of Charlton; numerous nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews; along with many friends.

Jean was dedicated to her family. She loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own children, as she recalled each birthday, celebratory date, or doctor’s appointment. She enjoyed traveling, the beach, and cruises. Her strong faith made her a woman of compassion, courage and kindness.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, August 13, from 10 a.m. until the Celebration of Her Life begins at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment at Worcester County Memorial Park will be private.
