Subscription Update Obituary

James R. Taylor, 63, of Webster died Wednesday, October 5th in Harrington Hospital. He leaves his wife of 28 years, Gail M. (McGinn) Taylor; his children, Holli Martel of Webster, and Shayne Royea, Jr. and his wife, Casey of Auburn; a brother, Stephen Michael Scott of Arizona; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He was born in Nashua, New Hampshire the son of Richard and Mary (Scott) Taylor. James was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for SP Plus Corporation for the past 25 years as a lot attendant. Mr. Taylor previously worked for Imperial Distribution and Worcester Quality Foods. When James was not at work, he could be found doing what he loved most, landscaping and scratching scratch tickets.

Calling hours are Friday, October 14th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 70 Walnut Street, #301, Wellesley, MA 02481.
